Celebrate American Indian culture at the Ah Tah Thi Ki Museum on November 3rd and 4th for their annual American Indian Arts Celebration. Located on the Museum grounds in the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation, guests will enjoy traditional and contemporary arts and crafts, dance and music of the Seminole, Southeastern and other tribes from across the country. Admission to the festival includes free parking and entrance to the museum!

 

 

Experience the best of Little Havana with the Paint, Taste & Sip Tour Experience.  Available to visitors and locals, this tour provides an interactive edu-tainment experience. Professional tour guides at the Little Havana Welcome Center will lead guests on a 60-minute walking tour through the rich culture and heritage of this vibrant Miami neighbhorhood. Taste authentic Cuban cuisine, such as empanadas, pastelitos, sugar cane water and Cuban coffee. The tour ends at Futurama Art Galleries where guests learn how to make their own mojitos and painting their own Little Havana-inspired masterpiece. The tour lasts 3 hours and tickets are $89 per person.

Celebrate art, history and culture at the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society. Members of the Seminole Tribe of Florida will be showcasing traditional and contemporary forms of women’s art November 5th  through November 30th in honor of Native American Heritage Month. This event is free with museum admission. Guests can purchase some of the world’s best patchwork, sweetgrass baskets and authentic handmade holiday craft items.
