The Cox Science Center and Aquarium is open for special exploration hours from 9 am-10 am, specifically designed for families affected by autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing, or cognitive challenges,?or other guests requiring assistance for disabilities. Experience our exhibits without heavy crowds before we open to the public with softened general lighting, decreased noise level, and limited visual stimulation on interactive exhibits wherever possible.
