Ohio's largest Civil War reenactment returns in 2025 as reenactors "invade" Historic Zoar Village in a recreation of the Battle of Appomattox!

This year commemorates the 23rd anniversary of the Zoar Civil War event and the 160nd anniversary of the Battle of Appomattox!

The reenactment takes place on both Saturday and Sunday, along with artillery night fire on Saturday!

Enjoy a Civil War Ball, food from the Anvil Tavern, historical demonstrations and meet a variety of historical figures!
